The Pulitzer-winning Michael R. Jackson musical starts its Broadway debut run April 6.

Michael R. Jackson's Pulitzer-winning musical A Strange Loop premieres on Broadway when it begins at the Lyceum Theatre April 6, and the production has announced the cheapest way to get a ticket with digital rush and lottery policies.

Rush tickets will be available for $47 in-person at the Lyceum Theatre box office, opening 10 AM Monday-Saturday and noon on Sundays. The first come, first-served tickets will be available for that day's performances only and limited to two per person. The offer is subject to availability and may include partial view seats.

A digital lottery, offering $43 tickets, is also available by registering at StrangeLoopMusical.com. Winners will be drawn the day prior to the performance.

A Strange Loop centers on Usher, a young, Black, gay theatre writer grappling with his toxic inner thoughts while trying to write a musical about a young, Black, gay theatre writer grappling with his toxic inner thoughts while trying to write a musical about... and on and on.

The Broadway production will feature Antwayn Hopper, James Jackson, Jr., L Morgan Lee, John-Michael Lyles, John-Andrew Morrison, and Jason Veasey reprising their performances from the 2019 Off-Broadway world premiere, along with newcomer Jaquel Spivey as Usher.

Stephen Brackett (Be More Chill) directs the production, with choreography by Raja Feather Kelly, a set by Arnulfo Maldonado, costumes by Montana Levi Blanco, lighting design by Jen Schreiver, sound design by Drew Levy, music direction by Rona Siddiqui, orchestrations by Charlie Rosen, and casting by The Telsey Office's Destiny Lilly.

A Strange Loop is produced on Broadway by Barbara Whitman along with Page 73 Productions, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Playwrights Horizons, and Rona Siddiqui.
