Atlantic Theater Company kicks off its 2022-23 season with the world premiere of Gracie Gardner's I'm Revolting, directed by Knud Adams. The new play begins at the Off-Broadway company's Linda Gross Theater September 8, with opening night set for October 5. The limited engagement will continue through October 16.

The cast features Tony nominee Gabby Beans (The Skin of Our Teeth) as Anna, Bartley Booz (Hamlet/Oresteia at Park Avenue Armory) as Jonathan, Patrice Johnson Chevannes (Halfway Bitches Go Straight to Heaven) as Denise, Laura Esterman (The Woman's Party) as Paula, Glenn Fitzgerald (The True) as Jordan, Peter Gerety (The Lieutenant of Inishmore) as Clyde, Emily Cass McDonnell (Bodies They Ritual) as Liane, Alicia Pilgrim (Cullud Wattah) as Reggie, and Patrick Vaill (Oklahoma!) as Toby.

The work is set at a skin cancer clinic in NYC ("not the famous one," according to press notes) as patients wait to find out how much of themselves they're about to lose.

The production includes scenic design by Marsha Ginsberg, costume design by Enver Chakartash, lighting design by Kate McGee, and sound design by Bray Poor. Casting is by William Cantler and Destiny Lilly of The Telsey Office, and Alex H. Hajjar is production stage manager.

I'm Revolting will be followed by the world premieres of Lloyd Suh's The Far Country, Simon Stephens and Mark Eitzel's musical Cornelia Street, Deepa Purohit's Elyria, and Lucas Hnath and Steve Cuiffo's A Simulacrum. The Atlantic for Kids series will present Lee Cataluna's Heart Strings.
