Jimmy Award winner Andrew Barth Feldman made his Broadway debut in the Tony-winning hit musical Dear Evan Hansen January 30. The 16 year old high school junior stepped into the title role, succeeding Taylor Trensch, who took his final bow at the Music Box Theatre January 27. "As a real-life high school student, I relate to the character of Evan Hansen immensely. And as a performer, it’s obviously been a dream of mine to sing [Benj] Pasek and [Justin] Paul’s amazing score,” says the actor. “I’m so excited to get to make my Broadway debut in this show that means so much to me and my peers.”
