Middle school students will soon have their chance to build a snowman, let it go, and more.
Disney Theatrical Productions has released licensing rights for Frozen JR., a 60-minute adaptation of the Broadway musical based on the 2013 animated film. The condensed version is designed specifically for middle schoolers and features all the songs heard in the movie, plus five numbers written specifically for the stage musical.
Frozen JR. is available for licensing in the U.S. and Canada through Music Theatre International, joining a catalog that also includes Disney’s Aladdin JR. and The Lion King JR., which each allow for flexible and inclusive casting to feature as many young performers as needed.
This fall, Disney will also release Frozen KIDS, a 30-minute condensed version for elementary school students.
