The Philadelphia institution has revealed its upcoming 218th season.

Philadelphia's historic Walnut Street Theatre has unveiled its 2026-2027 season, which will be the company's 218th season, with performances planned through May 2027.

The season will kick off with Andrew Lippa, Marshall Brickman, and Rick Elice's The Addams Family: The Musical, performing September 22-November 1. Next up is Disney's Frozen, running November 17, 2026-January 3, 2027; and David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross, performing January 12-February 14, 2027. Noël Coward's Present Laughter will perform February 23-March 28, with the season closing with Come From Away April 13-May 30.

“In thinking about the 218th season, we wanted to create the perfect gift for our audiences,” says Producing Artistic Director Bernard Havard in a statement. “Each of these shows has the opportunity to become a defining example of excellent theatre and we have the honor of bringing them to life on the stage. We want this season to leave audiences astounded by what they just saw and thinking about it for years to come.”

Casting and creative teams are to be announced.
