Burns made her Broadway debut in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, joining the company in the ensemble understudying Belle. In the time since, she has returned to the Main Stem in The Full Monty, The Ritz, In The Heights, The Nance, On Your Feet!, and The Rose Tattoo.
In addition to her Broadway work, Burns starred Off-Broadway in the original production of Songs for a New World, Smart Blonde, and Encores! Off-Center's revival of Working: A Musical. Throughout the shutdown, she has appeared virtually hosting ¡Viva Broadway! Hear Our Voices, guest hosted Stars in the House, directed Erlina Ortiz's La Egoista.
