Video Don't Want Bryan Cranston to Spit on You? Don't Play on Your Phone During His Broadway Show The actor, currently Tony-nominated for Network, stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers and shared the cautionary tale.

Warning to audience members: don't play on your phones while Bryan Cranston is on stage.

During a chat on The Late Show with Seth Meyers, the Tony winner talked about how actors notice movements in the audience. So when a kid's head was moving up and down instead of side to side during a performance of All the Way, the actor went to the end of the stage to see what was going on.

The result? A fiery speech—spittle included—in the direction of the distracted audience member. Watch the clip above.

The actor, currently Tony Award-nominated for his performance in Network, also spoke to Meyers about how he looks for a person who doesn’t want the spotlight each night while performing as Howard Beale.

The Oscar nominee admitted that during a scene in the play in which he goes into the audience, he looks for people who are not eager to interact with his character. What he didn’t know is that one night, he picked WWE wrestler Becky Lynch, who then tweeted about it. Watch the video below for Cranston’s reaction.
