The Broadway favorite was on the late-night show to promote his upcoming film Knock at the Cabin, directed by M. Night Shyamalan and releasing February 3. Groff talks about his personal connection to horror films—which may or may not have inspired those prank calls—with Meyers.
But don't worry, theatre fans. Groff does not leave his theatrical life behind, also discussing his performance in the recent Off-Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Merrily We Roll Along, set to make the jump to Broadway this fall. Skip to 7:38 if you wanna get to the Sondheim.
