DC In Concert, a new film concert series, will launch a national tour in 2024 celebrating the 35th anniversary of the 1989 film Batman, directed by Tim Burton. Attendees will see the film accompanied by Danny Elfman's Grammy-nominated score played by a live orchestra. Batman was the third collaboration between Burton and Elfman, and "The Batman Theme" won Elfman a Grammy award for Best Instrumental Composition.
The tour will launch January 13, 2024 in Los Angeles, after which stops are planned in Washington, D.C. (January 19); Tampa, Florida (January 20); Jacksonville, Florida (January 21); San Antonio, Texas (January 27); Atlanta, Georgia (February 2); Conway, Arkansas (February 3); Flint, Michigan (February 24); Newark, New Jersey (March 2); Orlando, Florida (March 9); Portland, Oregon (March 30); and Kansas City, Missouri (April 24); before making international stops in Paris (May 24) and London (May 26).
The Batman Live Concert tour is produced by TCG Entertainment, in conjunction with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and DC. DC In Concert is a new touring film concert series featuring a live symphony orchestra performing the scores to DC superhero films live.
