Byron's Ivey-Divey explores music originally played by the great tenor saxophonist Lester Young and the trio he formed with pianist Nat "King" Cole and drummer Buddy Rich in the mid 1940s. Byron plays clarinet and saxophones; veteran drummer Jack DeJohnette and young pianist Jason Moran complete the group.
The top of the chart remained the same, with singer Michael Bubl_'s It's Time at number one for the third week, followed by trumpeter Chris Botti's When I Fall in Love and singer Madeleine Peyroux's Careless Love.
On the contemporary jazz chart, Kenny G's At Last... The Duets Album remained at number one for the 12th week. Guitarist Chuck Loeb's When I'm With You debuted at number six.
