Cynthia Nixon and Laura Linney Alternate Roles in The Little Foxes
Set in Alabama in 1900, TheLittleFoxes follows Southern belle Regina Giddens and her scheme to outwit her husband, who stands in the way of her profit-making dreams. “Far from a sentimental look at a bygone era,” state production notes, “the play has a surprisingly timely resonance with important issues facing our country today.” Directed by Daniel Sullivan, the production features Linney and Nixon alternating the roles of Regina Hubbard Giddens and Birdie Hubbard.
