Cirque du Soleil will return to The Theater at Madison Square Garden in December with its holiday show, 'Twas the Night Before…. The popular traveling circus company will perform at the New York City venue December 7–28. Tickets will go on sale August 11 at 10 AM.

Based on the classic poem “A Visit from Saint Nicholas” by Clement Clarke Moore, 'Twas the Night Before… tells a story about a young girl who rediscovers the magic of the holidays through a festive flurry of acrobatics, performance art, and a soundtrack featuring reimagined holiday classics.

Cirque du Soleil Senior Artistic Director James Hadley serves as director for the production. Hadley is a 25-year veteran of circus productions and live theatre.

The holiday-themed show will run concurrently at The Chicago Theatre.

Now in its fourth decade, Cirque du Soleil is the largest theatrical producer in the world, having brought dozens of live visual performances to audiences across the globe.
