News Chris Lemmon Remembers Father Jack Lemmon in Twist of Lemmon, NYC Cabaret Show, Oct. 14 Actor-writer Chris Lemmon, son of Hollywood star Jack Lemmon, shares his memories and his original music in a new one-man show, Twist of Lemmon: A Musical Memoir, at 7 PM Oct. 14 at the Metropolitan Room in Manhattan.

This new stage piece about the younger Lemmon's experience of growing up in Hollywood features nine of his original piano compositions, along with a narrative "that will reveal touching and heartfelt stories, as well as laugh-out-loud anecdotes of his life and times in the world of Hollywood stardom."

Jack Lemmon's many film credits include "Some Like It Hot," "The Apartment," "Mister Roberts," "The China Syndrome" and more.

Chris Lemmon has starred in more than 25 feature films, including "That's Life," "Just the Ticket," "Lena's Holiday" and more, plus the Fox comedy "Duet," which launched the network. He graduated from California Institute of the Arts with degrees in classical piano and composition, as well as a degree in the theatrical arts, and went on to appear in numerous stage productions, including a West Coast tour of Barefoot in the Park directed by the late Jerry Paris, plus Shay by Anne Commire and Love Letters with Stephanie Zimbalist.

He currently resides in New England where he writes and produces feature films and television. His memoir, "A Twist of Lemmon," was published Father's Day 2006. He recently wrote, produced, and hosted the Sony documentary "Magic Time," and is currently in post-production for his newest documentary "Day By Day," which he wrote, produced, hosted, and wrote the original musical score.
