Joe Dixon, Debbie Kurup, Gary Wilmot, Adam Pearce, Tanisha Spring, and Silas Wyatt-Barke haved join the cast of the upcoming London premiere of The Prince of Egypt, in the roles of Seti, Queen Tuya, Jethro, Hotep, Nefertari, and Aaron, respectively. As previously reported, the new musical, based on the 1998 Dreamworks animated movie, will begin performances February 5, 2020, at the Dominion Theatre in the West End.

The new cast joins the the previously announced Luke Brady as Moses, Liam Tamne as Ramses, Christine Allado as Tzipporah, and Alexia Khadime as Miriam. Further casting to be announced.

The Prince of Egypt features a score by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell) and a book by Philip LaZebnik (Mulan, Pocahontas). Scott Schwartz (Stephen Schwartz's son) will direct the London staging, having previously helmed the 2017 world premiere at the TheatreWorks Silicon Valley (co-produced by Fredericia Teater Denmark). Sean Cheesman also returns as choreographer.

The new musical will make its official West End premiere February 25, for a limited 32-week engagement.

The creative team features set designer Kevin Depinet, costume designer Ann Hould-Ward, lighting designer Mike Billings, sound designer Gareth Owen, projection designer Jon Driscoll, and illusion designer Chris Fisher. Orchestrations are by August Eriksmoen with musical supervision and arrangements by Dominick Amendum. Dave Rose is musical director. Casting is by Jim Arnold CDG.
