The cast will boast Tony nominee Kate Baldwin, Christian Campbell, Aisha de Haas and Tony nominee Brandon Victor Dixon with Jonathan Burke, Trista Dollison, Robert Hartwell, Maik Reif, Nicholas Dean Park, David Garry, Renee Freeman, Samantha Blain, Amanda Williams, Brianna Horne and Madelyn Valenzuela. Jeremy Dobrish directs.

The musical features book and lyrics by Jeremy Alan Richards with music by Rose, Richards and Eugene Gwozdz; the latter is also musical director.

Morgan Street, according to press notes, tells the story of an "adopted child searching for his birth parents and ultimately his identity, through an innovative combination of musical genres including pop, traditional Native American & African, blues, r&b and folk."

In addition to the Tony Award, Rose received Lucille Lortel, Clarence Derwent and Theatre World awards as well as a Drama Desk nomination for her work in Caroline, or Change. Her other Broadway credits include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Footloose.
