The Broadway production of Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman's international hit musical Wicked welcomes Nancy Opel (Urinetown, Honeymoon in Vegas, Curvy Widow) to the role of Madame Morrible and Jamie Jackson (Doctor Zhivago, The Last Ship) as Doctor Dillamond November 20.
The two actors succeed Isabel Keating and Martin Moran, who played their final performances November 18.
In related news, Jesse JP Johnson (SpongeBob SquarePants) will take over from Jye Frasca as Boq beginning December 11, with Wicked alum Katie Rose Clarke returning to the role of Glinda (stepping in for Amanda Jane Cooper) that same day.

The Broadway company also currently includes Jessica Vosk as Elphaba, Kevin Chamberlin as The Wizard, Ryan McCartan as Fiyero, and Kristen Martin as Nessarose.
Having recently celebrated its 15th anniversary on Broadway, Wicked has music and lyrics by Schwartz and a book by Holzman. The production is directed by Tony winner Joe Mantello with musical staging by Tony winner Wayne Cilento.
Wicked is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Stage Productions, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt, and David Stone.
