Tony Award winner Billy Porter is engaged to Adam Smith. Porter most recently appeared on Broadway in the star-studded Shuffle Along or the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed as Aubrey Lyles. Porter won his Tony for his performance in Broadway’s Kinky Boots as Lola.

Porter has also appeared on the Main Stem in Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Grease, Five Guys Named Moe, Hair, and Dreamgirls. Recently, he directed Proud of Us and Other Short Plays by Wesley Taylor, which was presented at New World Stages.

The couple has not yet announced when wedding bells will ring.
