News Barbra Streisand Reveals Details of Upcoming Encore Tour She teases that some of her duet partners will join her.

Barbra Streisand revealed details about her upcoming concert tour on the July 20 episode of the TV interview show Extra.

The nine-city Encore tour launches August 2 in Los Angeles. It supports her new album, Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, which is due for release August 26.

The Tony, Grammy, Emmy and Oscar winner told Extra host Mario Lopez how the concert will be structured: “The first act is songs from number-one albums [from each decade of her career], and then the second act is the new material from my album.”

Streisand also teased that some her duet partners on the album would be joining her on stage, but she gave no names.

Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, features duets with the likes of Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin, Seth MacFarlane, Patrick Wilson and Jamie Foxx.

Encore marks Streisand’s third Broadway album. Streisand released The Broadway Album and Back to Broadway in 1985 and 1993, respectively, both of which went multi-platinum.
