Registration is now open for the 17th Broadway Teachers Workshop, which offers five separate sessions July 6-22, 2017, in New York.
Teachers from across the U.S. are immersed in the heart of Broadway as part of the three-day series of workshops and seminars with Broadway artists. Participants also take in four Broadway shows during their stay, which include post-show talkbacks with the cast and crew.
Participating shows for 2017 include Anastasia, Dear Evan Hansen, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Designed to inspire teachers and directors of high school and middle school theatre and arts with new teaching methods, enhanced production skills, and an exchange of ideas with peers and professional Broadway artists, the program is produced in conjunction with Music Theatre International and offers teachers the opportunity to earn graduate level academic credits.
