A host of Broadway favorites are set to take part in the fifth annual Broadway Bakes fundraiser at the Hell's Kitchen bakery Schmackary's May 27 through May 31 from 3 PM to 7 PM each day.
Scheduled to participate in the fundraiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS are Beetlejuice Tony nominee Alex Brightman, Frozen duo Patti Murin and Caissie Levy, Tony nominee Laura Osnes, upcoming Jagged Little Pill starsDerek Klena and Kathryn Gallagher, John Bolton, Stephanie Styles, Lesli Margherita, Wesley Taylor, Isaac Powell, Jimmy Davis, Will Brill, Christy Altomare, Ben Rauhala, James Snyder, Jenny Jules, Matt Mueller, and Be More Chill's Joe Iconis, Jason Williams, and Charlie Rosen.
The Broadway artists will work behind the counter at the gourmet cookie company throughout the five-day period. Half the proceeds from cookies sales and 100 percent of the tips generated will go to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Schmackary’s Broadway Bakes events have raised over $53,000 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
