Meanwhile, Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson belts out the phenomenon's anthemic "Memory" as Grizabella over a series of vibrant shots featuring oversized furniture, dayglo cat-friendly hangouts, and more.
The Universal Pictures title arrives in movie theatres December 20 with a cast that also includes Taylor Swift as Bombalurina, Judi Dench as Old Deuteronomy, Jason Derulo as Rum Tum Tugger, Idris Elba as Macavity, Rebel Wilson as Jennyanydots, and recent Tony Awards host James Corden as Bustopher Jones.
Hamilton Tony winner Andy Blankenbuehler choreographs, having previously worked on the 2016 Broadway revival. Lloyd Webber has reportedly composed a new song specifically for the movie, to be performed by Victoria, the dancing white cat (portrayed on screen by Francesca Hayward of the Royal Ballet).
