The 2018 Tony Awards drew in a viewership comparable to its at-home audience the year before.

Deadline reports that the 72nd annual ceremony, co-hosted by Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban, earned a 4.8 in metered market (i.e. approximately 4.8 percent of households with a TV tuned in to the broadcast). This number is up marginally from last year’s 4.7 result. By comparison, the year prior—the season of Hamilton—garnered a 6.8.

CBS’ 2017 broadcast was up against the Stanley Cup Finals; this year’s ceremony faced no such sporting event during the 8-11PM timeslot.

In total, the June 10 ceremony averaged 6.3 million viewers.
