Cabaret & Concert News Telly Leung Will Sing Happy and the Beatles Following Aladdin Run The Broadway actor has announced several concert dates after he departs the Disney musical.

Telly Leung, who takes his final bow in the title role of Broadway's Aladdin February 17, will play several concert dates following his departure from the Disney musical.

Leung will offer his latest concert evening, Sing Happy, March 16 at 7 PM at San Diego's Martini's Above Fourth and March 18 at 7:30 PM at Studio City's Vietello's. The eclectic evening of music and backstage stories takes a revealing look at the ups and downs of what it takes to be a professional singer, from joyful Broadway openings to a career-threatening event that almost ended it all.

The actor will also join the Memphis Symphony Orchestra for two performances of Beethoven and The Beatles in April. The 7:30 PM April 13 performance will be held in the Harris Concert Hall at the University of Memphis, and the 2:30 PM April 14 concert will be seen at Playhouse on the Square. Robert Moody is the conductor.

Leung's other Broadway credits include In Transit and Allegiance, the revivals of Flower Drum Song and Pacific Overtures, and the final Broadway company of Rent. He originated the role of Boq in the Chicago production of Wicked and played Dalton Academy Warbler Wes on Fox’s Glee.
