Additional sessions on July 16 and 17 will yield more short plays that will advance to the finals; six will ultimately be chosen on the 18th for publication and representation by Samuel French.
The list of recently selected plays includes Flood by Kirby Fields; Dance Lessons by Josh Koenigsberg (Al's Business Card); White Embers by Saviana Stanescu; Skin Deep by Mary Lynn Dobson (Two on the Aisle, Three in a Van; Fan-Boy by Megan Sass; and Pigskin by Gabriel Dean.
As of July 16, the schedule for the July 18 finals follows (the order within the sessions is subject to change as more plays move on to the finals):

Founded in 1975, the Samuel French, Inc. Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival is the oldest continuous short play festival in New York City. Notable playwrights whose work has been seen in the festival include Theresa Rebeck, Shirley Lauro, Bekah Brunstetter, Steve Yockey, David Johnston and Sheila Callaghan.
