Tim Ruddy directs John Duddy, Jo Kinsella, Georgina McKevitt and playwright-actress Sexton.

Opening night is March 19. Off-Brodway performances play to April 5. Irish Rep is at 132 W. 22nd Street.

According to Irish Rep, "For Love is a relentless ride that takes audiences on a romp through the urban sexual experiences of three women in modern-day central Dublin. Is there more than a one-night stand in Val's future? Can Tina find the right dress if she's got the wrong man? Should Bee hop into bed with a married man or just go to the zoo? Or is there something else out there? Witness what it means to be single to three Irish women, what they will put themselves through, and what they will or won't do — for love."

Ruddy previously directed After Luke and When I Was God at Irish Repertory. For Love had its world premiere in September 2012 in New York City's 1st Irish Theatre Festival as part of its Next Generation Play Series of new plays by new Irish playwrights. The U.S.-based Irish actors reprise their roles from the earlier premiere.

After its run at Irish Repertory Theatre, the play makes its Irish premiere at The Derry Playhouse, in Derry, Ireland, as part of U.K. City of Culture 2013, followed by a national tour with performances at The Grand Opera House in Belfast, Theatre Royal in Waterford, and two venues in Dublin: Axis, Ballymum and The Viking Theatre. For Love contains adult material that may not be suitable for theatregoers under 18 years old.

The production features costume design by Elizabeth Kirby and lighting design by Michael O'Connor.

Sexton's plays include Bridget and The Last Days of Cleopatra. As an actress, she recently appeared in Long Day's Journey Into Night, directed by Joe Dowling at The Guthrie Theatre, plus Gaslight at Irish Rep, The Prophet of Monto (1st Irish Theatre Festival Best Actress Award); and more.

Currently at Irish Repertory Theatre, on its Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage Theatre, is Donnybrook!, a musical based on the movie "The Quiet Man," with music and lyrics by Johnny Burke and book by Robert E. McEnroe.

Tickets are $45, and are available by calling (212) 727-2737 or by visiting irishrep.org.
