Second Stage Theater will launch a weekly concert series, Musical Mondays, celebrating the company’s past musical productions, in March. The series will kick off March 4 with Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years. Brown will also direct.
Also planned is Stephen Sondheim, Julius J. Epstein, and Philip G. Epstein’s Saturday Night on March 11, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, and Peter Duchan’s Dogfight on March 18, and Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey’s Next to Normal on March 25.
Casting and creative team duties will be announced at a later date.

NEW MUSICAL SUPERHERO BEGINS AT SECOND STAGE THEATER OFF-BROADWAY
“It feels fitting that as we present the world premiere of our new musical we’re taking this moment to celebrate some of the defining musicals in Second Stage’s history,” said President and Artistic Director Carole Rothman. “The Last Five Years, Saturday Night, Dogfight, and Next to Normal were each significant, extremely popular productions for us. I’m excited to give them a fresh take in a concert format for both enthusiasts and new audiences alike.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public February 5.
Single tickets are $89, and premium tickets are $125. Tickets can be purchased at 2ST.com. There will be a limited number of 30 Under 30 tickets available for each performance.
