Pics! Roundabout Gala Honors Audra McDonald

Roundabout Theatre Company presents Spring Gala 2016: Celebrating 50 Years of Extraordinary Theatre Feb. 29. The evening, hosted by Nathan Lane, celebrated the company's achievements and recognizes the accomplishments of Audra McDonald and Roundabout’s chairman of the board Tom Tuft.

Each was presented with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre at a ceremony in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria, New York.

McDonald, who was named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people, has won Tony Awards for her roles in Carousel, Master Class, Ragtime, A Raisin in the Sun, The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess and Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill.
