Nick Rashad Burroughs, who inhabited soul and funk musician James Brown in his new act James Brown Live at Joe’s Pub last July, will offer an encore performance October 6 at 10 PM at the Apollo Music Café in Harlem.
Nick Rashad Burroughs Is James Brown Live will recreate two of Brown’s legendary performances, including his appearance with the Famous Flames on the T.A.M.I show in 1964 and his 1971 appearance on Italian television.

Burroughs will perform Brown’s “I Feel Good,” “It’s a Man’s World,” “Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag,” and “Get Up (Sex Machine),” which feature arrangements and musical direction by Joshua Stephen Kartes. Michael Borges produces the concert.
