Nathan Brewer directs the production with musical direction by Anna Ebbesen and choreography by Chad Austin.

Broadway actress Kristy Cates, who produces along with Mark Olson, told Playbill.com via email, "I am so thrilled that our musical theatre department at the New York Film Academy is presenting our first-ever musical Spring Awakening. We are an international school that welcomes students from all over the world and many countries — including, the U.S., U.K., Spain, Brazil and Denmark — are represented in our production of Spring Awakening. The Musical Theatre department is comprised of instructors who are professional actors, musicians and directors and are still actively working in the business - the majority with Broadway credits.
