The event continues the President and First Lady’s long-running relationship with the landmark musical. In 2009, Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda first performed “The Hamilton Mixtape” for Michelle and Barack Obama at the White House as part of an evening celebrating spoken word and music.
