Yellow Sound Label will release an original Off-Broadway cast recording of the musical The Evolution of Mann, which was seen in an extended run at The Cell Theatre last fall.
The musical about a 30-something single New Yorker’s quest to find the perfect date to take to his ex-fiancée's wedding features music and lyrics by Drama Desk nominee Douglas J. Cohen (Children's Letters to God, The Opposite of Sex), and a book and lyrics by Dan Elish (13: The Musical) based on his novel, Nine Wives.

Orchestrations are by Matt Aument (Sweeney Todd) with and musical supervision by Vadim Feichtner (Falsettos).
Samuel French has also acquired amateur and stock licensing rights to the musical, which was originally directed by Joe Barros.
