Jersey Boys Star John Lloyd Young Brings His Cabaret Show to California

John Lloyd Young, who won a Tony Award for his performance as singer Frankie Valli in the 2005 musical Jersey Boys, will bring his cabaret show to the Orinda Theatre in Orinda, California, 7:30 PM February 1.
Young, who also starred in Clint Eastwood’s 2014 film version of the musical about the close-harmony singing quartet The Four Seasons, will kick off the spring 2018 cabaret series at the 180-seat auditorium east of San Francisco. In addition to the Tony Award, Young won the Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Theatre World awards for his performance as Valli.

Young premiered his new cabaret show at Café Carlyle in New York City in February 2017. He appeared as Michael Feinstein’s guest as part of the latter’s summer concert series at Feinstein’s/54 Below, also in NYC.
Young recently played the role of Tom Wingfield in the October 2017 Alabama Shakesespeare Theatre revival of The Glass Menagerie.
