John Simpkins directs the production that began previews April 1 and will run through May 9. Iconis penned book, music and lyrics for Bloodsong. The cast features Katrina Rose Dideriksen (Hairspray, Jerry Springer), MK Lawson (42nd Street), Eric William Morris (Mamma Mia!, Coram Boy), Jeremy Morse, Lance Rubin (Things to Ruin) and Jason 'SweetTooth' Williams.
"In a blood and whiskey-soaked world of shoot 'em ups, stolen brides and kazoo-wielding villains, a rogue musician with a killer guitar is out to set things right," press notes state.
Designers include Michael Schweikardt (set design), Michelle Humphrey (costume design), Chris Dallos (lighting design), Jonathan Weston (sound design), Eric Reynolds (prop design), Jen Werner (choreography) and Matt Hinkley (music direction).
Iconis has penned The Black Suits, ReWrite and The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks, as well as the theatrical concert Things to Ruin.
