The new series, created by Greg Garcia ("My Name is Earl," "Yes, Dear"), is a production of 20th Century Fox Television. Todd Holland ("The Larry Sanders Show," "Malcolm in the Middle") is lined up to direct. The series centers on three siblings — identical twin sisters and a brother — who pool their money to get one sister a complete makeover so they can cash in on her good looks in Hollywood. Winokur is lined up to play the twin who does not get plastic surgery.
Winokur earned her Tony for her turn as Tracy Turnblad in the musical Hairspray. The actress — who made her Broadway debut in Grease! — co-starred on Fox TV's "Stacked." Other credits include the films "American Beauty," "Scary Movie" and "Fever Pitch."
