The new musical features a book and lyrics by Lisa Diana Shapiro and music by Georgia Stitt. Joanna Greer directs and choreographs with musical direction by Sinai Tabak.
Members of the TADA! Resident Youth Ensemble are featured in the cast.
"Samantha is a lonely kid who prowls the black & white, rain-washed streets of her film-noir fantasies, as Samantha Spade, Ace Detective, the go-to gumshoe who always solves the case (for $25 a day plus Twizzlers)," according to press notes.
The production also has set and lighting design by Steve O'Shea and costume design by Cheryl McCarron with stage management by Phoebe Duncan.
