The previously announced Michael C Hall, Michael Esper and Sophia Anne Caruso are to be joined by Gabrielle Brooks, Sydnie Christmas, Richard Hansell, Amy Lennox, Maimuna Memon, Jamie Muscato, Tom Parsons and Julie Yammanee in the London premiere of David Bowie's Lazarus.
It will begin performances October 25 at the King's Cross Theatre, prior to an official opening November 8, for a run through January 22, 2017.
The musical offers a sequel of sorts to Bowie’s film The Man Who Fell to Earth, with a score consisting of songs from throughout his career, plus three new ones.
Lennox, who plays Elly, most recently starred as Lauren in the London production of Kinky Boots (Adelphi Theatre), for which she earned an Olivier Award nomination. Other West End credits include Legally Blonde (Savoy Theatre and The Sound Of Music (London Palladium).
Brooks, who plays Teenage Girl., has appeared in the West End in The Book Of Mormon (Prince of Wales), I Can’t Sing (London Palladium) and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (London Palladium).
Christmas, who plays Teenage Girl, is a recent graduate from D&B Academy of Performing Arts in Musical Theatre.
Hansell, who plays Zach, recently worked with Ivo van Hove in the Young Vic production of A View From The Bridge, in which he appeared both in the West End and on Broadway. He has also been seen in the West End in Macbeth opposite James McAvoy (Trafalgar Studios) and The Madness Of King George (Apollo Theatre),
Memon, who plays Teenage Girl, recently graduated from The Oxford School of Drama and was seen in The Buskers Opera at London’s Park Theatre.
Muscato, who plays Ben, was most recently seen in the West End in Bend it Like Beckham (Phoenix Theatre). Other stage credits include The Light Princess (National Theatre) and Spring Awakening (Lyric Hammersmith and Novello Theatre).
Parsons, who plays Michael, has been seen in the West End in Avenue Q (Noel Coward, Wyndham’s and Gielgud Theatres) and Mamma Mia! (Prince of Wales Theatre).
Yammanee, who plays Maemi, was seen in Here Lies Love (National Theatre).
