Emma Geer will join the previously announced Tatiana Maslany and Susan Pourfar in Second Stage Theater’s New York premiere of Tracy Letts’ Mary Page Marlowe.
Geer, Maslany, and Pourfar will portray the title character at different points in her life. Casting of the remaining three actors will be announced shortly.
The Off-Broadway premiere of Mary Page Marlowe will be directed by Obie and Drama Desk Award winner Lila Neugebauer (The Wolves, Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo). Performances are scheduled to begin June 19 in 2ST’s Tony Kiser Theater ahead of a July 12 opening night.

Mary Page Marlowe pieces together a portrait of a woman from key moments in her life, with the title role shared among a number actors. The play received its world premiere at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre in 2016 with direction by Artistic Director Anna D. Shapiro; the production featured a 21-member cast, including seven actors who shared the title role.
Geer appeared Off-Broadway in Hindle Wakes at Mint Theater Company, How to Transcend a Happy Marriage at Lincoln Center Theater, and Where Has Tommy Flowers Gone at Workshop Theater. Her regional theatre credits include 4,000 Miles at Shakespeare & Company and Up the Hill at The O'Neill. On film she was seen in In the Treetops (world premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival, 2015).
As previously announced, Second Stage Theater will produce both on and Off-Broadway in the 2017–18 season. The theatre’s inaugural Broadway season will kick off March 1 with Oscar winner Kenneth Lonergan's Lobby Hero starring Chris Evans and Michael Cera.
