Casting is nearly complete for Roundabout Theatre Company's 2019 Broadway revival of the musical comedy Kiss Me, Kate.
Joining the previously announced Tony winner Kelli O'Hara and Tony nominee Will Chase are Corbin Bleu (Holiday Inn, High School Musical) as Lucentio/Bill Calhoun, Terence Archie (Rocky the Musical) as Harrison Howell, Mel Johnson Jr. (Jekyll & Hyde) as Harry Trevor/Baptista, Stephanie Styles (Roman Holiday) as Lois Lane/Bianca, Adrienne Walker (The Lion King) as Hattie, and Lance Coadie Williams (Sweat) and John Pankow (Cymbeline) as Gangsters.
Composer-lyricist Amanda Green, who was Tony-nominated for the score to Hands on a Hardbody, has joined the musical's creative team. Green, whose Broadway credits also include High Fidelity, Bring It On, and the recent revival of On the Twentieth Century, will contribute additional material to update the show's libretto for a modern audience.
Also joining the company are Phillip Attmore, Darius Barnes, Preston Truman Boyd, Will Burton, Derrick Cobey, Jesmille Darbouze, Rick Faugno, Haley Fish, Marissa McGowan, Sarah Meahl, Christine Cornish Smith, Sherisse Springer, Sam Strasfeld, and Ron Todorowski.

The production, directed by Scott Ellis, will begin previews February 14 prior to an official opening March 14. The limited engagement is scheduled to continue through June 2 at Studio 54.
The 1948 musical features a score by Cole Porter and a book by Sam and Bella Spewack. Tony winner Warren Carlyle will choreograph the new production, which will feature music direction by Paul Gemignani, orchestrations by Larry Hochman, dance arrangements by David Chase, sets by David Rockwell, costumes by Jeff Mahshie, lighting design by Donald Holder, sound design by Brian Ronan, and hair and wig design by David Brian Brown.
In 2016, O’Hara, Chase, and Pankow starred in a sold-out benefit concert reading of Kiss Me, Kate, also directed by Ellis.
