Ghostlight Records will record New York City Center’s 2017 production of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe’s musical Brigadoon for a new cast recording to be released in the fall. The gala staging was presented last fall starring Tony winner Kelli O'Hara, Tony nominees Patrick Wilson, Stephanie J. Block, and Robert Fairchild, and Aasif Mandvi.
Performances of Brigadoon ran November 15–19, 2017, with direction and choreography by Christopher Wheeldon.
The production featured the Encores! orchestra, led by music director Rob Berman; Jack Viertel served as artistic advisor.

Brigadoon premiered on Broadway in 1947 and tells the story of Tommy and Jeff, two American tourists who happen upon a peculiar Scottish village that only appears for one day every 100 years. When one of the Americans falls for a local woman, he questions whether he ever wants to leave.
The album is being produced by Kurt Deutsch, Lawrence Manchester, Berman, and Emily Altman.
