Hamilton Tony nominee Christopher Jackson and Tony winner Jane Krakowski will announce the 2017 Tony Award nominations May 2, live from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.
The announcement event will be live-streamed at TonyAwards.com beginning at 8:30 AM. Portions of the nominations will also be broadcast on CBS This Morning and on NY1. Playbill will also post a complete list of nominations as soon as they become available.
Jackson earned a 2016 Tony nomination for his performance as George Washington in Hamilton; his additional credits include In the Heights, Holler If Ya Hear Me, The Lion King, After Midnight, and Bronx Bombers. Krakowski, who won a Tony Award in 2003 for Nine, also received a nomination last year for She Loves Me. Her additional credits include Emmy-nominated turns on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and 30 Rock, as well as Grand Hotel, Once Upon a Mattress, and Company on Broadway.
The 71st Annual Tony Awards will take place June 11 at Radio City Music Hall; a host for the ceremony has yet to be announced.
