Stage to Page Before Aaron Tveit Brings Moulin Rouge! to Broadway, Look Back at Him in Catch Me If You Can Co-starring Norbert Leo Butz, the musical adaptation of the movie opened April 10, 2011.

Aaron Tveit is set to make his return to Broadway this summer in Moulin Rouge!, eight years after his last starring role. That show was 2011's Catch Me If You Can, based on the film of the same name starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Directed by Jack O'Brien and co-starring Norbert Leo Butz as the FBI agent determined to bring Tveit's con man to justice, the musical was nominated for four Tony Awards, including best musical. Butz won lead actor in a musical, his second Tony Award.

Catch Me If You Can featured a book by Terrence McNally, score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Whitman, and choreography by Jerry Mitchell. Also on board were scenic designer David Rockwell, costume designer William Ivey Long, lighting designer Kenneth Posner and sound designer Steve Kennedy.

The cast also featured Tom Wopat as Frank Sr., Kerry Butler as Brenda, Rachel De Benedet as Paula Abagnale, Linda Hart as Carol Strong and Nick Wyman as Roger Strong.

The Catch Me If You Can ensemble included Joe Cassidy, Timothy McCuen Piggee, Brandon Wardell, Sara Andreas, Alex Ellis, Will Erat, Jennifer Frankel, Lisa Gajda, Bob Gaynor, Kearran Giovanni, Nick Kenkel, Grasan Kingsberry, Michael X. Martin, Aleks Pevec, Kristin Piro, Rachelle Rak, Joe Aaron Reid, Angie Schworer, Sabrina Sloan, Sarrah Strimel, Charlie Sutton, Katie Webber and Candice Marie Woods.

Set within the frame of a 1960's television variety show, Catch Me If You Can began previews March 11 and officially opened April 10. It played 32 preview and 170 regular performances.
