Michael Berresse will direct a cast that includes Alex Wyse (Spring Awakening), Drew Moerlein (American Psycho), Lindsay Mendez (Dogfight), Saycon Sengbloh (Eclipsed), Nate Miller (Peter and the Starcatcher), and Olivier winner Lesli Margherita (Matilda) with Andy Arena, Gillian Bell Weeks, Dallyn Brunck, Monte Howell, Joseph Redman, and Natalie Weiss. Josh Kight is the musical director.
The Talented Mr. Ripley began as a best-selling 1955 psychological thriller by Patricia Highsmith. Ripley was adapted into the French film Plein Soleil (Purple Noon) in 1960, and then again by Oscar winner Anthony Minghella in 1999, starring Matt Damon, Jude Law, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Gwyneth Paltow, and Cate Blanchett. The latter was nominated for five Academy Awards and five Golden Globes, including Best Screenplay and Best Picture.
