We Are the Tigers, a new teen horror comedy, opens Off-Broadway February 21. The musical, which began previews February 7, follows a dismally low-ranking team of cheerleaders trying to survive the night while being terrorized by a serial killer.
We Are the Tigers is written and composed by Preston Max Allen with direction by Michael Bello. The cast features Lauren Zakrin, Cathy Ang, Jenny Rose Baker, Cameron Bartell, Kaitlyn Frank, Louis Griffin, Zoe Jensen, Caroline Lellouche, Wonu Ogunfowora, Sydney Parra, Celeste Rose, Mimi Scardulla, and Alexia Sielo.
The production is scheduled for a limited run through April 17.
We Are the Tigers will have music supervision and arrangements by Patrick Sulken, scenic design by Ann Beyersdorfer, costume design by Heather Carey, lighting design by Jamie Roderick, sound design by Josh Liebert, choreography by Katherine Roarty, props design by Alyssa Tryon, violence design by Matt Franta and Brandon Pugmire, casting by Kate Lumpkin Casting, musical direction by Geraldine Anello, dramaturgy by Nina Kauffman, and orchestrations by Matthew Aument.
We Are The Tigers is produced by Midnight Theatricals and S. Asher Gelman. The production stage manager is Jenny Kennedy, and the assistant stage manager is Jenna Lazar.
