Watch the Eerie New Trailer for the Broadway-Bound The Minutes
Get a taste for Tracy Letts’ new political comedy, debuting in Chicago next month.
Steppenwolf Theatre has released an eerie new trailer for its upcoming production of Tracy Letts’ The Minutes, a new play billed by the Chicago theatre as a “scathing comedy about small-town politics and real-world power.” Watch the teaser trailer above.
As previously announced, the show is set to arrive on Broadway in the spring following its world premiere at Steppenwolf.

Previews will begin in Chicago November 9 for an engagement scheduled through December 31. Opening is November 19.
Anna D. Shapiro directs a cast made up of Kevin Anderson, Ian Barford, Francis Guinan, James Vincent Meredith, Sally Murphy, William Petersen, Brittany Burch, Cliff Chamberlain, Danny McCarthy, Penny Slusher, and Jeff Still. A cast for the Broadway engagement has not yet been announced.
“The Minutes explores how we define history and the stories that we tell ourselves,” says Shapiro in a press statement. The Tony-winning director and artistic director of Steppenwolf is working with Letts for the fifth time.
Letts’ plays include Linda Vista, August: Osage County, and Superior Donuts.
