As Frozen prepares to celebrate its official opening March 22 at Broadway’s St. James Theatre, check out footage from the new Disney musical in the trailer above.
The montage, featuring an instrumental version of “Monster” (the 11 o’clock number written specifically for the musical), features glimpses of Elsa in her ice palace, the newly added “hidden folk,” the Sven and Olaf puppets in action, and more.
Caissie Levy and Patti Murin star as Elsa and Anna, respectively, in the musical—the first adaptation of the 2013 animated hit to expand upon the material in the movie. Joining them are Jelani Alladin as Kristoff, John Riddle as Hans, Greg Hildreth as Olaf, Robert Creighton as Weselton, Kevin Del Aguila as Oaken, and Timothy Hughes.
Frozen, directed by Michael Grandage, features choreography by Rob Ashford, sets and costumes by Christopher Oram, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Peter Hylenski, video design by Finn Ross, puppet design by Micahel Curry, hair design by David Brian Brown, makeup by Anne Ford-Coates, and special effects by Jeremy Chernick.
