The cast of Broadway's Holiday Inn appeared on NBC’s Today show October 18 to perform a medley of ”Blue Skies” and “Shakin’ the Blues Away” on the promenade in Rockefeller Plaza about six blocks from Studio 54, where the show is playing.
The segment opens with a short interview, in which co-star Corbin Bleu talked about his debt to Fred Astaire, and Bryce Pinkham described the original 1942 film as an “injection of joy” for the grim World War II years.
