Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley of The Skivvies join Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, the Off-Broadway comedy by Matt Murphy, based on the best-selling book by Dan Anderson and Maggie Berman, beginning July 16.
The Broadway duo, who are well known for performing musical numbers in their underwear on the cabaret circuit, are performing in the show through July 30. Molina is playing the “straight woman” and Cearley the “gay man.”
“The Skivvies are thrilled to be joining the hilarious show Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man,” said Molina and Cearley in an earlier joint statement.
Now in its third year, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man provides audiences with pro insider “tips” from a gay man. Directed by Tim Drucker, Sex Tips began performances January 22, 2014, and opened February 9, 2014. The show is playing the 777 Theater, located at 777 Eighth Avenue, New York.
Presented by Matt Murphy and Shawn Nightingale, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man has scenic design by Luke Cantarella, costume design by Tilly Grimes, lighting design by Brian Tovar and video and sound design by Randy Blair.
