News Tamika Lawrence and Her Band, The Slay, Will Slay Lower Manhattan This Month Tamika Lawrence, most recently seen on Broadway in If/Then, will hit DROM in the Lower East Side with her band Tamika and the Slay Feb. 22 for a 10 PM concert.

Formed in 2014, Tamika and The Slay have been creating their own blend of "Roll/Soll," a healthy mix of hard-hitting rock 'n' roll with soul nuances, in the NYC area. This will be the band's last concert before hitting the studio to develop their EP, projected to be released in the summer.

The band includes Lawrence, Damien Bassman, Marc Schmeid, Craig Magnano and Drew X. Coles.
