In this exclusive video, take a sneak peek at Eden Espinosa in the new Disney animated show Tangled: The Series, which reunites the characters from the popular animated film Tangled. Espinosa voices the new character of Cassandra, who is the best friend and right-hand woman to the central character of Rapunzel, played by Mandy Moore.
Cassandra is strong-willed and intelligent, and Espinosa says she feels “honored” to play her in the show.
Tangled: The Series will be available beginning March 24 on the Disney Channel. Following its debut, the series will roll out globally in 33 languages in 162 countries on Disney Channels worldwide.
Moore is reprising her role from the Tangled film alongside Tony nominee Zachary Levi, who was last seen on Broadway in the Tony-winning revival of She Loves Me.
Starring alongside Moore, Levi, and Espinosa are Julie Bowen (Modern Family) as Rapunzel's mother, Queen Arianna; and Clancy Brown (Shawshank Redemption) as Rapunzel's father, King Frederic.
The Disney Channel original movie Tangled Before Ever After, in which Rapunzel and Cassandra go on an adventure, will make its debut March 10.
