Springsteen fans don’t necessarily have to shell out $850 a ticket to see The Boss on Broadway. Producers of Springsteen on Broadway announced that a limited amount of $75 lottery tickets will be available for every performance of Springsteen on Broadway starting with the first preview at the Walter Kerr Theatre on October 3. Read reviews here.
Producers will release 26 tickets to be sold for $75 each. The tickets will be made available via a digital ticket lottery, which fans can enter up to a week prior to the performance. Drawings will occur 24 hours prior to each show. (Seat locations may vary per performance.)
The lottery opens today. Here's what you need to know:
Beginning September 28, the lottery will offer five performances at a time for entry. Entry closes at 10 AM ET the day prior to the performance. Winner and non-winner notifications will be sent at 12 PM ET the day prior via email or SMS. Only one entry is permitted per person. Repeated entries and invalid email addresses will be discarded. Tickets must be purchased online with a credit card by 4 PM ET the day prior to the performance using the purchase link and unique code in a notification message. Tickets not claimed by 4 PM ET the day prior to the performance are forfeited. Lottery tickets will be void if resold.
Springsteen fans can attend the opening night of Springsteen on Broadway and give to a good cause. A select number of tickets to the opening night performance and after party are currently available via Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Funds from these tickets will support emergency grants currently being made to organizations providing immediate assistance after the devastating natural disasters that have ravaged communities in Florida, Texas, Mexico and, most recently, Puerto Rico. Springsteen on Broadway, which marks Bruce Springsteen's Broadway debut, will run through February 3, 2018. Opening night is scheduled for October 12. The 20-time Grammy winner will play five performances a week.
